APPLY FOR GRANT
At the Pennsylvania Parks Fund, our mission is to raise as much money as possible for parks throughout PA. We do this through membership dues, sponsorship fees, government and foundation grants. We then distribute these funds in the form of a grant to parks throughout PA. Our members will vote each February helping us decide which parks receive a grant.
APPLY FOR GRANT
All parks located within Pennsylvania qualify for a grant! Funds can be used for any project within the park system. We appreciate before and after pictures of the project you used the funds for. Members and sponsors love to see what they helped to pay for.
DATES TO REMEMBER
You can begin to apply for grants on December 1, 2023. You will have until January 31, 2024. Grants will be sent out in April 2024.
For the 2024 grant season, grants will be capped at $30,000. This limit is needed as we grow our donor base. We hope to double this number for the 2025 season. This applies to all county, city, borough, and township parks. For national and state parks, the cap will be around $100,000 for the 2024 season. We hope to double this amount for the 2025 season.
Our sponsorship program will allow county, city, borough and township parks to potentially receive an additional $20,000 through local sponsorships with area businesses. This means local parks could receive up to $50,000 total in grants. National and state parks can receive an additional $50,000 in sponsorship fees which means they can receive up to $150,000 total in grants.
DONORS DECIDE ON THE GRANTS
Remember, donors will vote which parks they want to receive a grant. So when submitting your grant request, provide as much information as possible and include photos and videos if possible. Visuals will help your request stand out to our donors.
