Is your park looking for funding for an upcoming project? Then our grant program might just be what your park is looking for. Our entire mission is to create the best funded parks in all of America.
To do this, we get support from individuals, families, businesses, foundations and governments throughout PA.
Throughout February and March of 2024, our main focus will be on getting word out to the parks throughout PA about our program. We hope this translates to parks (up to ten percent of them) signing up to become a part of our grant program. Our goal is to enroll around 549 parks. There are limits as to how many parks we are looking to enroll per county. You can view this information by visiting our Park Projects page.
From April 2024 through March 2025 PPF will do all we can to raise the funds needed to provide all participating parks with a grant. Before we begin fundraising, we want our donors to know exactly which parks will receive a grant, what will be funded, how much they will receive, etc. We will raise funds via donations, memberships, sponsorships and grants from government and foundation entities. If a particular county raises all the funds needed prior to the end of the fundraising period, we will continue fundraising until the end of the fundraising period. Extra funds will be used to provide additional grants or larger grants to participating parks.
In April 2025, our fiscal sponsor (Social Good Fund) will disburse the funds to the parks so they can begin the project they intended to use the funds for. Our grant program isn't created to be quick. It's designed to get the public participating in the funding objectives of their local parks. So many local parks throughout PA need the assistance. Getting locals involved benefits everyone.
